Our Story
Founded in Trichy, Built on Trust
Maruti Hospital was founded in 1997 in the heart of Tiruchirappalli with a simple purpose — to connect skilled medical experts with patients who need timely, quality care at a reasonable cost. Since that first day, every path the hospital has taken has been shaped by its team's commitment to patients and their families.
Today, Maruti Hospital is a 140-bed multispeciality hospital with more than 90 specialists across 28 departments. It is known in particular for its neonatal intensive care, and offers advanced treatment for critical conditions including cardiothoracic surgery, joint replacement, brain surgery, and spinal disorders — supported by a full team of specialist and super-specialist consultants.
Dr. K. Anand serves as Promoter and Managing Director; Dr. N. Hema serves as Medical Director.

What Our Infrastructure Means for You
Patients have access to a 15-bed multidisciplinary ICU, an Intensive Coronary Care Unit, a 30-bed Neonatal ICU, a 2-bed Paediatric ICU, and a 7-bed dialysis unit. Diagnostic support includes 24/7 spiral CT, digital X-ray, ECG, ECHO, TMT, and ultrasound/Doppler studies — so evaluation happens faster, under one system.

Free Medical Camp for Children & Newborns
Led by Dr. A. Archana, Consultant Paediatrician & Neonatologist, our free medical camps offer newborn care consultation, child health checkups, growth and developmental assessment, vaccination guidance, and screening for common childhood concerns — with reduced-cost diagnostic tests for camp attendees.
Breastfeeding Awareness
In recognition of World Breastfeeding Week, Maruti Hospital runs awareness initiatives covering the benefits of breastfeeding for baby and mother — including initiating within one hour of birth, exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months, and continued breastfeeding alongside complementary foods up to 2 years or beyond.
